The Short: Experienced Marketing Professional

Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) with more than 14 years of experience in marketing for the architecture, engineering, and construction industries. Unique background comprised of project management, graphic design, and copy writing. Service expertise includes: program and construction management, civil design, digital/technology planning, and municipal finance and engineering. Market expertise includes: water/wastewater, transportation, education, healthcare, and advanced industries (ex: data centers).

The Long:

After graduating from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising, I landed a freelance assignment designing the layout of a must-win proposal for a small construction management firm in San Francisco. My zest for learning transformed me into much more than a graphic designer — I became fascinated with the complexity of pursuit strategy and the ability to leverage immersive design and strategic content to win work and make a difference in local communities.

I thrive on assignments that allow for collaboration with diverse technical teams to identify marketing strategies, from detailed pursuit capture planning and developing critical value propositions that set my firm apart from the competition, to building detailed marketing plans and implementation strategies that take into account diverse markets, services, and geographic regions. However, I consider my proudest achievements to be helping young professionals develop their skills, grow their expertise, and build their confidence.

Outside of work, I am passionate about supporting social change and dedicated to giving back to my community. As a former board member for the San Diego chapter of the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS), I planned and hosted a charity golf tournament that raised $4,000 for The Monarch School, a local K-12 school designed to educate youth at risk of homelessness.
